The Swiss Medtech industry is a strong driver for the Swiss economy, as it creates an above-average number of jobs compared to other industries, as a recently published study by Swiss Medtech and the Helbing Group has shown.

The latest survey carried out by the digital association Bitkom shows that the majority of Germans have a positive opinion of the digital transformation in the healthcare sector. As a result, 89% of participants are in a positive mindset towards a digitalized healthcare system.

The „KI Innovation Award“ recognizes outstanding achievements in the development and implementation of artificial intelligence technologies. Founded in 2019, FUSE-AI is known for its innovative medical AI software that supports radiological practice.

The Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise ("IHE") is an initiative by healthcare professionals and industry to improve the way computer systems in healthcare share information. IHE develops guidelines and supports a testing process and other activities to encourage the implementation of standards to enable communication among such systems. FUSE-AI has joined this initiative.

On June 27, 2024, Matthias Steffen and Juri Rohde were guests at Oost NL, an economic development agency in the eastern Netherlands. FUSE-AI intends to operate internationally and has become aware of Oost-NL in this context.

With our AI solution “Prostate.Carcinoma.ai”, we have reached the final round of two prestigious competitions: the AI Innovation 2024 and the KPMG Venture Champion Award. The AI Innovation Award, presented by the AI Federal Association Germany, recognizes pioneering achievements of companies. On May 29, the ‘Day of Innovation and Research’ took place for the second time at the Kantonsspital Aarau KSA, Switzerland - focusing this time on the topic of “Artificial Intelligence in Medicine”.
